Our business hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
This service is usually $100 and needs to be done once or twice a year depending on your area conditions. Occasionally, grids and other parts may need replacing. Tank o-rings also need to be replaced every 2 or 3 years and usually cost around $30. If you want to clean your filter yourself, please let us know so we don’t schedule one for you! We schedule all annual filter cleans for the first two weeks in April.
Swimming pools only, not spas. Conditioner, non-chlorine shock, phosphate remover, and algaecide will be added as needed every service visit to keep your pool properly sanitized, sparkling clear, and algae free at all times. Sometimes you may still get algae and we will then complete a large algae treatment with these chemicals and along with extra chlorine. These chemicals are expensive and necessary to maintain pristine conditions in your pool. They are safe to swim in and work well with each other. This fee is on the August invoice every year and is $95. If you are on our Airbnb plan, this fee is $135 annually and will appear on the August invoice.
Due to insurance liabilities, we are not allowed to add water to your pool or spa, so please keep an eye on your water level and fill as needed. Proper water level should be maintained at mid-tile to ¾ of the tile line.
Salt cells have life spans of 3-5 years and range from $550 – $700 to replace. These cells need to be inspected and cleaned in an acidic solution for proper maintenance every 3 – 6 months. There is a $50 fee for this service. Every so often we have to add bag(s) of salt to your pool. They are not light and they have to be lugged from our supplier to our storage to our service tech’s trucks and then to your pool. This is why we charge a $15 fee per 40lb bag of salt. You can buy these bags yourself at Home Depot and we will add as needed free of charge as long as we see them by your equipment.
Airbnb Vacation Rental properties typically require quarterly filter cleans. Occasionally, grids and other parts may need replacing. Tank o-rings also need to be replaced every 2 or 3 years and usually cost around $55. We will work with you on scheduling the filter cleans in order to not disrupt your guests. Post check-out pool & equipment inspections are highly recommended in order to protect your investment and to determine if anything damaged should come out of the guests' deposit. We will provide this service for an additional $35 per Post Check-Out Inspection as long as a 2 week advanced notice is given in order to properly schedule with one of our technicians. We take a week off for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We usually take the week of or week after the holiday off. Please email info@prestigiouspoolcare.org or text 619.840.7825 if you would like to know exactly which week we’re taking off.
In the event of a holiday, we may service your pool or spa the day before or after the actual holiday. Please email info@prestigiouspoolcare.org or text 619.840.7825 with specific questions.
In the event of rain, we will clean out baskets, check and balance chemicals, and come back on your next service visit to clean your pool or spa. We need to keep our guys safe and off the road during rainy weather.
We usually bill customers between the 1st and 5th every month. There will be a 5% late fee every month if payment is not received by the 30th of the month. For example, the payment for April will be due April 30th or late fees will apply. We also accept credit cards, bank transfers, and ApplePay via a link in your email invoice. You can also opt into our monthly Auto-Pay. Just fill out our Auto-Pay form and email it to billing@prestigiouspoolcare.org
We will remove pool covers in order to service your pool, but our technicians do not put them back on.
